This Weiser Rear Kit fits many bike models, to name a few: BMW R1200 GS/A and BMW R1250 GS/A (from 2013 – 2020), as well as BMW R and F range bikes (but not the RT models!). So basically all models without the adaptive headlight and without the multifunction turn signals.

At the heart of this kit is an intelligent electronic circuit board design delivering Weiser’s best-ever multifunction indicators. There is a front kit too for these BMW models, but this here is the rear kit. At the rear, the triple-function indicators use 12 amber LEDs for the turn signals and 12 red LEDs as running lights, which step up to a high-intensity brake function when you slow down.

Installation is straightforward and error-free. No extra resistors, no splicing – just a clean fit that works with your bike the way it should. And here’s the clever part:

• When the ignition is on, the rear running lights are always on, until you indicate.
• At the rear, the indicators work alongside your existing brake light, giving you up to three brake lights at once for maximum visibility.
  When indicating, the brake light on the indicating side pauses while the amber signal takes priority. The brake light on the non-indicating side remains as a red brake light. The huge benefit is that your indicating light or brake light never gets washed out!
• Once you stop indicating, normal running lights are resumed.
• Hazard lights operate as normal.
